Invisalign® in Grove City, OH
Invisalign® clear braces are custom-made just for you.
Your Invisalign® clear braces may look like a simple piece of plastic, but they’re really not. Invisalign is a high-tech orthodontic treatment that uses computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) to create your custom aligners.
And, by wearing them regularly, your teeth will move to create the smile you’ve been looking for.
At The Grove City Center for Dentistry, your Invisalign® treatment will consist of a series of aligners that you switch out about every two weeks. Each aligner is individually created with your exact specifications and is designed to shift your teeth into place over time.
The Invisalign® Treatment Process at The Grove City Center for Dentistry
During your initial consultation, Dr. Simone and Dr. Lowe will discuss any cosmetic concerns you may have about your teeth and smile. Then, if you are a candidate for Invisalign®, we will create a treatment plan developed with your goals in mind.
The Invisalign system starts with a digital scan of your teeth. This gives your doctor a precise 3D image of your teeth so they can map out your entire treatment from start to finish. Then, using the Invisalign Outcome Simulator, you and your doctor can see what your new smile will look like at each stage of treatment.
Once your doctor approves your treatment plan, your aligners are custom-made for you. You’ll receive a new set of aligners every two weeks to continue moving your teeth until you reach your desired smile.
We create customized aligners for you to wear at each stage of your treatment. A complete treatment may include several aligners per arch, but the total number of aligners will depend on each patient’s individual situation.
Invisalign® vs. Traditional Braces: What is the difference?
While both Invisalign and traditional braces are effective at straightening teeth, there are some key differences.
Invisalign clear aligners are virtually invisible, so most people won’t even know you’re wearing them. On the other hand, traditional metal braces are very noticeable and can be uncomfortable to wear.
Invisalign aligners are also removable, so you can take them out to eat and brush your teeth. Traditional braces are fixed in place, making eating and cleaning your teeth difficult.
Invisalign treatment is also typically quicker than traditional braces, with most patients finishing their treatment in about 12 months. With traditional braces, treatment can take two years or more.
If you’re looking for a straighter smile without the hassle of traditional braces, Invisalign might be right for you. Schedule a consultation with The Grove City Center for Dentistry today to find out if you’re a candidate for Invisalign treatment.

Commonly Asked Questions
During your consultation with Dr. Simone or Dr. Lowe, we will consider several factors to determine if you are a candidate for Invisalign® treatment. We will look at:
- The overall health of your teeth and gums.
- The type of dental work you may need.
Invisalign® can correct many dental issues but cannot correct everything traditional braces can. For example, crooked teeth, crowded teeth, and gapped teeth are best addressed with Invisalign® aligners. However, if you need to correct an overbite or underbite, we will refer you to an orthodontist who can help you with this issue.
You should wear your aligners at least 22 hours per day, except for eating and drinking, to complete your treatment in the timeline we’ve determined. You’ll come in for occasional checkups, monitor your progress, and receive your next set of aligners. You will see your teeth gradually move into place during the entire treatment process. And, your smile will develop into something that makes you proud.
The cost of Invisalign® treatment will be determined during your consultation with Dr. Simone or Dr. Lowe. We will develop a customized treatment plan and give you an estimate of the total cost.
In most cases, Invisalign® is covered by dental insurance, just like traditional braces. However, we encourage you to check with your insurance provider to see if Invisalign® is covered under your specific plan.
At The Grove City Center for Dentistry, we want you to love your smile. And we want to help you get there.
